The Community Foundation of West Georgia’s online Charity Wish List and Calendar of Events offer two communications tools for charities and donors.

The calendar features the events for nonprofit organizations in Carroll, Haralson and Heard counties such as fund-raising fairs, meetings, food distribution schedules and volunteer functions.  The calendar not only gives nonprofit organizations a new way to publicize their events, it also allows organizers to determine other events that are planned as they set their dates. 

The Charity Wish List offers nonprofit organizations one central place where they can make the public aware of their specific needs.  Organizations may submit up to three needs at a time at no charge.  Donors can visit the Community Foundation web site to match their donations to charities’ specific needs, learning more about where their donations, volunteer time, materials and interests are needed.
