Community Foundation of West Georgia Art Show
The Community Foundation of West Georgia is hosting its first juried art show and exhibit June 4th through the 25th at the Carrollton Cultural Arts Center. It is our hope that the art work submitted for the art show will highlight and define in a creative process and form the concept of community, What is community? The Foundation currently has 55 funds from donors, corporations and non profits directly addressing community needs. Since 2004 the Foundation has distributed over $1.45 million dollars to local non profit organizations in the areas of art/culture, education, economic development, medical/hospice, education and the environment.
