How much money is distributed locally by the Community Foundation?
In 2006 the Community Foundation of West Georgia made grants of $500,000, including $260,000 to 45 local nonprofit organizations in Carroll, Haralson and Heard counties from the Community Impact Fund and $240,000 in donations to local charities from its donor-advised funds.
