The grant application will open March 15th and close April 30th at 11:59 PM EST.

Purpose:

To provide funds for public school music, art, and drama programs located in Carroll, Haralson, and Heard counties.

Eligibility Requirements

State certified music, art, and drama teachers in a public school located in Carroll, Haralson, or Heard counties for grades Pre-K through 12. Funds may be used to purchase supplies, supplemental teaching material, or secure the services of an outside artist. Funds may NOT be used to purchase band uniforms. Projects can be funded up to a maximum of $1,000 or partially funded.

Teachers teaching at more than one school may apply for a grant for each school. (Not limited to one grant per teacher.)

THIS GRANT MAY NOT BE USED FOR CLUBS OR AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS.

  • Applications must be submitted online
  • Early application is encouraged
  • Grants are to be used in Carroll, Haralson, or Heard counties or designed to specifically benefit those communities
  • The grant year for funded applications will run January through December 

Final Report:

If a grant is awarded, the funds must be used within 12 months of award date. The applicant will submit a final report once funds have been spent. Applicant grants the Foundation the right to use their name, photo, and information about the grant in publicity.  The final report form can be found here.
