<h4><span style=”color: #333333″>Seeks Art Work Depicting “What is Community?”</span></h4>
<span style=”color: #333333″>The Community Foundation of West Georgia has issued an invitation for artists to participate in its fourth annual juried art show March 8 – 29 at the Carrollton Cultural Arts Center.  The special show will feature artwork depicting artists’ images of “What is Community?”  The show will be open to the public and there is no admission charge to view the art, opening on March 8 with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m.</span>

<span style=”color: #333333″>Original two dimensional and three dimensional art work in all forms and processes will be considered.  The show is open to professional and amateur artists 18 years and older who are residents of Carroll, Haralson, or Heard counties or who have a connection to the area.  </span>

<span style=”color: #333333″>All selected work will be exhibited at the Cultural Arts Center for one month.  Overall awards offered will be $500 for Best in Show and runner-up awards of $250 and $100 each.  Finalists also have the opportunity for works to hang in the corporate collection of the Community Foundation office for one year.  Artists may offer their artwork for sale during the show.</span>
