The Russ Collier Youth Recreation Scholarship Fund is a non-profit organization financially assisting youth in memory of Russ Collier. The scholarship fund benefits kids in need that participate in sports with the Carrollton and Bremen Recreation Departments. 

Russ grew up and worked summers at the Carrollton Recreation Department. In later years, Russ worked at the Bremen Recreation Department. Russ had a love for kids and always encouraged their efforts along the way. When Russ saw kids in need he would buy them new shoes and equipment so they could be prepared like others around them. Out of affection the rec. kids started calling him ‘Uncle Russ’. 

Money will be used for the proper shoes, gloves, padding, etc. for the recipients’ sport.
