[box]The Community Foundation of West Georgia is hosting its second annual juried art show and exhibit. The Community Foundation is a public charity dedicated to improving the lives of residents in the three county area, Carroll, Haralson and Heard Counties. It is our hope that the art work submitted for the art show will highlight and define in a creative process and form the concept of community, what is community? The Foundation currently has 82 funds from donors, corporations and non profits directly addressing community needs. Since 2004 the Foundation has distributed over $2.5 million dollars to local non profit organizations in the areas of art/culture, education, economic development, medical/hospice, education and the environment.[/box]
