ME Young Professionals Group
The Community Foundation of West Georgia has formed a new group for young professionals, ages 21 to 35, who are interested in networking, socializing and volunteering in the community. The new group is called >Me (Greater Than Me), the group has organized around the theme:
“It’s never too early to give back.”
Members will enjoy a variety of events throughout the year that will include fundraisers, social activities and classes such as cooking, as well as volunteer activities. The most up to date event information can be found on the >Me Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Gr8terthanMe
>Me will host a happy hour the third Tuesday of every month at Plates on the Square. Membership is not required to attend happy hours and 10% of purchases will go to the Community Impact Fund of the Community Foundation of West Georgia. Contact Shawn Phillips (email@example.com) for more information.
How To Become a Member of >Me
For those who wish to join >Me, membership dues are $25 per person or $40 per couple. See membership application below. The group plans one activity each month, such as a St. Patrick’s Day party and volunteering at a family fun night at the Circles of West Georgia program. Volunteer events will give participants an opportunity to give back to the community and to learn about the nonprofit organizations serving those in need.
