Alice Huffard Richards Grant
The Alice Huffard Richards (AHR) Fund opened in 2004 to further the philanthropic efforts of Ms. Alice Huffard Richards. The Fund’s focus is to enhance life in Carroll, Haralson, and Heard County communities through targeted investments in Early Child Development, the Environment and Civic & Community Leadership.
The application process for 2026 Alice Huffard Richards Fund (AHR) grants opens on Aug. 15th, 2025.

The AHR fund will not make grants after our 2027 grant cycle. Please keep this in mind if you depend on this funding for your programming or operations. We have appreciated our relationships with our grantees and value the impact you've made through AHR funding.

The grant period runs from Jan. 2026 through the end of 2026.
Final reports are required and are submitted online.
