Meet Mitchell Rogers

Mitchell Rogers will serve as the incoming President of the Community Foundation, officially beginning his new role in August 2026. A community builder at heart, Mitchell is dedicated to connecting people with causes that matter and believes deeply in the power of local collaboration to transform lives.

Most recently, Mitchell served the Community Foundation of Northeast Alabama as interim President and CEO, as well as Vice President of Community Partnerships. In these roles, he focused on building genuine relationships and helping neighbors invest back into their own communities.

​

An alumnus of Jacksonville State University, Mitchell earned both his bachelor’s degree in marketing and his Master of Business Administration. He further strengthened his expertise in strategic giving by earning his Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) designation through The American College of Financial Services.

​

For Mitchell, “Service Above Self” is more than a motto, it is a way of life. His long-standing involvement with Rotary International includes serving as past president of the Rotary Club of Calhoun County, Alabama, and as a former assistant governor for Rotary District 6860. He now continues that commitment locally as a member and executive secretary of the Rotary Club of Carrollton.

Mitchell is also passionate about investing in the next generation. He is a graduate of Leadership Randolph County, Alabama and serves on the board of directors for the Piedmont Education Trust, supporting students and teachers in Piedmont City Schools.

Above all, Mitchell values family. He and his family are proud to call Carrollton home, where they are active members of First Baptist Church of Carrollton.
